Turkey Stroganoff

A classic dish made easy – with ground turkey, sautéed onions, and just the right touch of garlic and light sour cream served over fluffy dumplings.

Ingredients
1 lb | ground turkey |
1 cup | (about 8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms |
1/2 cup | thinly sliced onion |
1/2 cup | chicken broth |
3 tbsps | all purpose flour |
12 oz | evaporated milk |
1/2 tsp | garlic powder |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | ground black pepper |
6 oz | No Yolks® Dumplings |
1/4 cup | light sour cream |
2 tbsps | parsley, chopped |
Directions
- Coat a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Add turkey, mushrooms and onions. Cook until turkey is done and onions are tender.
- In a small bowl combine broth and flour. Add flour mixture, evaporated milk, garlic powder, salt and black pepper to turkey mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile cook noodles according to package directions. When pasta is ready, stir sour cream and parsley into turkey mixture. Serve over pasta.
