Noodles with Lemon Chive Sauce

Let’s get nuts! Almonds, that is. With lemon peel and chives, you can whip up a distinct dish with unique flavor and only need a couple of ingredients.

Ingredients
2 cups | No Yolks® Broad Noodles |
2 Tbsps | margarine |
2 Tbsps | sliced almonds |
1 tsp | grated lemon peel |
2 tsps | lemon juice |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/4 tsp | ground black pepper |
1/4 cup | fresh chives, minced |
Directions
- Prepare noodles according to package directions.
- Melt margarine in small pot. Add almonds and cook for 1 minute over medium heat or until lightly browned. Stir in lemon peel, juice, salt and pepper. Simmer 1 minute. Stir in chives.
- Place cooking noodles in serving bowl. Pour lemon-chive sauce over noodles and toss gently but well. Serve immediately.
